Let’s Go Low Range !

Namibia

Duration: 14 days each

The land of dunes, vast open spaces, blessed with an unspoilt coastline and other wilderness areas and superb wildlife! This is a wonderful relaxing country to tour with such diversity! While Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Etosha National Park and the Fish River Canyon are the most popular destinations, there are almost limitless opportunities to enjoy this wild beauty of this empty, ancient land.

Quo Vadis runs 3 different tours:

  • Kaokoland in the North-west

Often described as one of the last truly wild areas in Southern Africa – with the simple beauty of the mountain landscape; the ruggedness of the access routes and tranquility enjoyed by those visiting this north-western corner, with its four-wheel driving challenges. The Kunene River rewards us with the beautiful Epupa Falls and numerous riverside lodges and campsites, while the opportunity to visit the unique, nomadic and photogenic Himba people, will give you some insight in their village life – another highlight!

  • Damaraland/ Etosha/Sossusvlei

Namibia’s best known rock art is located in the hills of Damaraland, which also offer excellent hiking and photographic opportunities. Visiting this region with us will ensure that you encompass Namibia”s most dramatic natural features such as the Spitzkoppe and the Brandberg mountain with the famous rock painting of the “White Lady”, the Petrified Forest and many more……

Etosha is one of Africa’s great national parks, the game viewing here is on par with Kruger, Hwange Masai Mara and Serengeti – do we need to say more….?

Sossusvlei is most visitors’ highlight with the massive sand dunes surrounding the Tsauchab River and huge pan – the river which seldom flows, just “dies” down in the desert at Sossusvlei.

  • Forgotten Land of Eastern Namibia and the Caprivi

You will experience a true wilderness and will come to understand the term “Forgotten Land”! Interesting roads or is it tracks? Thick sand – camp in the bush for a night – on the Bushmanland 4×4-route – untamed Africa at its best, with barely a sole in sight……! Baobabs dot the skyline; below them golden yellow grass and the dark green and gold of autumn bush – throw in the remote and little visited Khaudum Game Reserve and the Caprivi Strip ……. and the reasons to experience this exceptional region, multiply.
